GOA Diaries- Day 6

Welcome to Day 6,
It was going to be a very exciting day as we had planned to go to Dudhsagar Falls. We had to leave early, as it was atleast a 2 hour drive from the place we were staying at. We rented a self drive Mahindra Thar for our last two days in Goa to get that experience as well.
Dudhsagar Falls (literally Sea of Milk ) is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River and is amongst India's tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet).
We drove till the ticket counter and from there we got our life jackets and from there we had to take a safari ride as you are not allowed to take personal vehicles any further.
The way ahead was an experience which was very different and new for me, it was really really beautiful. The ride was followed by a trek to the falls. We dived straight into the water which was crystal clear and stayed there for 3-4 hours. It was a phenomenal experience, and would love to go there again.

We got quite late and, because it was our last night in Goa, planned to visit Thalassa for dinner as it is the most popular place to eat. After dinner, we went to Baga as the crowd there at night is the best and the sound of waves is so peaceful. We sat by the shore for some hours, talked about life and random stuff and enjoyed our last night of the trip.
