5 things I‘ve learned in 2018

Isn’t crazy how we can look back a year ago and realise how mind everything has changed? The amount of people who have left, entered and stayed. Everything. It’s crazy how all that happened in just one year.

Here are few things that I learned this year:

  • Get rid of toxic things
The biggest thing I’ve learned this year is not to force anything; conversations, friendships, relationships, attention, love. Anything forced is just not worth fighting for. Whatever flows flows, what crashes crashes. It is what it is.

  • Always have a positive perspective
I’ve learned that you can get through bad times and keep looking for better ones, as long as you have people who love you. Try to train your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice. The happiness of your life always depends on the quality of your thoughts.

  • Your mental health matters
I’ve learned that your mental health matters the most. Little did I know that my mental health can play a huge role in how I feel and perceive things.
  • Don’t fret the small things
I’ve learned not to fret about small things. At times, I used to get annoyed by the smallest of inconvenience. A small problem or a petty issue has the power to spoil your entire day if you let it. However, I realised this year that it’s important to let go.
  • Learn to say NO
I’ve learned to say no without feeling guilty. Setting boundaries is healthy. You need to learn to respect and take care of yourself.

What did you learn this year? Let me know in the comments!
